Privacy policy

Who is responsible

Net Projekt d.o.o., Trinajstići 94c, 51215 Kastav, Croatia (OIB: 74530974731) develops and publishes the game under the NP VEX Gaming Studio / Net Projekt Games brands. For privacy enquiries, contact gaming@net-projekt.hr.

The game: on-device play

The game has no user accounts, advertising, analytics or online leaderboard. Its gameplay does not send motion readings, scores or saved campaign data to Net Projekt servers. You can play offline after installation.

Phone orientation and movement readings from the device's motion sensors are processed on the device to locate the fictional target and detect movement during capture. The game does not upload or retain raw sensor histories. It does not use the camera, microphone, contacts or GPS location. Audio is playback of game music and effects, not recording. Haptics provide proximity and movement feedback.

Ordinary captures require keeping the detector pointed at the fictional target until its signal strengthens, then holding the phone still. No walking or step counting is required. Orientation readings and current signal progress are processed locally; no raw motion history is retained or uploaded.

Saved progress and high scores

Campaign progress, hunter selection, captured spirits, points, elapsed play time, signal boosts and audio preferences are stored in the app's private local files. The local high-score table contains game-run records, including score, elapsed time and recording date; it does not request your name or email.

Saved data remains until replaced by gameplay or removed by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it. Android system backup may copy or restore app data according to your device and Google account settings; Net Projekt does not operate this backup service or receive those backups. Manage system backups separately in your Android settings.

Deleting game data

There is no account to delete and Net Projekt does not hold a server copy of your game progress. On Android, open Settings → Apps → Boston Spectral Unit → Storage → Clear data (the wording varies by device). This removes local progress, preferences and high scores. Uninstalling also removes local app data. Starting a new game replaces the campaign but does not serve as a complete deletion of all stored scores. Device backups are managed separately.

This website

This website uses locally hosted images, fonts and scripts. It does not include analytics, advertising trackers, tracking pixels, embedded videos, contact forms or cookie-based features. Normal web requests expose technical information such as IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time to the hosting provider. Hosting systems may process request/security logs to deliver the site, maintain reliability and prevent abuse. These technical records are retained only as needed for those purposes and applicable obligations; retention depends on the deployed hosting configuration.

If you contact us

Sending an email is optional. We process your email address, message and any information you choose to provide to answer the request and provide support. Do not send passwords, payment details or unnecessary personal information. Email and hosting providers may process this information to deliver their services; we do not sell it or use it for advertising.

Support correspondence is retained while needed to resolve and follow up on the enquiry, and longer only where legal obligations or the establishment, exercise or defence of claims require it. Processing necessary to handle a requested service may rely on contractual necessity; general enquiries and operational security rely on legitimate interests. Legally required retention relies on the relevant legal obligation.

Service providers and international processing

The game uses device and operating-system services. Google Play distribution and Android backup are governed by Google's own policies. Website hosting and email services can process information on our behalf in the locations where those services operate. Where required, applicable safeguards must be used for transfers outside the European Economic Area. Contact us for information about the providers and safeguards applicable to your enquiry.

Your privacy rights

Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal information we hold about you, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact gaming@net-projekt.hr. We cannot retrieve local-only game data from your phone. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority; in Croatia this is the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).

Children and horror content

The game is a fictional horror experience with frightening images and sounds. It is not designed for young children, and we do not knowingly request personal information from children. The applicable store age rating is shown in the Google Play listing when the game is released. Please contact us if you believe a child has sent personal information to us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Changes

If the game's data handling or website services change, this policy will be updated with a new effective date. This policy applies to the version described above and must be reviewed before introducing online services, analytics, advertising or new data collection.
